"best new movie in town" Roger Ebert

We're talking about "Terry. " If I wasn't such a neophyte I'd add a link to the trailer. But look it up. It's about a high school kid who is an outsider. Every one of my closest friends describe themselves as outsiders in high school, or at the very least, "weird." Let's hear it for high school outsiders. Seriously, lets hear from you.

  1. Welcome to my first authored post on our blog site. I have w4g tied up to a chair in the basement with a gag in his mouth.

  2. Uh, except the movie title is "Terri" with an "i" at the end.

  3. Who wasn't "weird" in high school? Couldn't wait to get out everyday and cause trouble with my friends-LOL!

Now P, let him up every once in awhile so his muscles don't atrophy-

  4. Last I saw w4g, my dear Teddy, he was grumbling about his car. GOD! how I hate cars and their expensive to repair inner workings, tires, brakes, mufflers... And what's with those oil changes and air pressure checks? Headaches, I tell you.

Can't live with 'em and can't live without 'em.

I fly the high school outsider flag. Couldn't wait to get out. I was working a summer job between jr. and sr. year and the adults were telling me that I'd look back at high school as the best years of my life. I told them, if that was true I might as well kill myself right now. Thankfully, they were full of shit. Having my children, raising them were both the best and worst days of my life and I find the mixture of best/worst continues. I think I'd rate these days of profound unemployment and financial insecurity as one of the best too, with my wonderful group of friends (don't blush y'all) and my lovely grandchildren.

  5. congrats sweet princess on your first post!!! just fool around with it and you'll learn how to do things on the blog. in fact, that's how i discovered that i could let u post. actually, i can allow up to 100 people to post! so Judes and Roc, if u wanna post, just lemme know.

Aamco "cleaned-out" my transmission for $150.00 a couple weeks ago and it seems to be runing fine although they couldn't guarantee it and said that i would eventually need to replace it at a later date. i, too, hate owning a car. if i didn't need one and wouldn't have one.

hot as hell here and my mood is not improving but, like Tisha, i'm glad i have u all as friends. i wake up every morning and see my buddha and think of Judes.

  7. "i wake up every morning and see my buddha and think of Judes." I'm sure he didn't mean it the way it sounds, Judes.

Sammy was running in the mudathalon this morning. (Has to be seen to be believed, 5K through mud pits and other obstacles.) My point is that she was covered in mud and couldn't see anything clearly.

  9. Sorry, Sweet Prince, it's saying I need a new authorization code. Each is one time only, apparently.
