  8. While we're into the subject, I hope we're not going to get any of that, "I'm a year older," crap from either of our male contributors.

First of all, no you're not. You're one day older each day, only once a year we choose to change a number. Second of all, you're getting better, not just older. My philosophy? You can either choose to see how real that is, or you can fall down and worship every sweet, young, totally ignorant young person that comes along.

Anyway, I have to go now as I'm busy planning the combination balloon ascension/Las Vegas stripper club party for a couple of weeks from now.

  13. THE PROM: hair appt Fri afternoon, makeup, nails and wardrobe by 4pm. Drive with date to my parents house so we can all see the outfits and take some pix. Back to her mom's house for more pix then to the designated girl's house for group pix of their weekend "group." Arrive at prom, change high heels for chucks to dance all night and take more pix. Dance last slow dance of the evening with her best girlfriend. Go to eat and then girls crash at one of their houses and men off to wherever. Six Flags next day, all day, where her beau won her an octopus hat. Back to friend's house for night. Sleep until noon and then off to mom's for mother's day.

Came dragging back home at 8pm last night, "I'm so tired, Grandma. And I have to take a shower, I still have my makeup on from Friday."

Verdict? Prom weekend was a success. I'll send the pix to you Judes. But they are also on fb.

  15. I love you guys too!
Hey, my guy/future husband got so smashed at prom I had to drive us home and he promptly passed out. We didn't even get to go out to eat with everybody else. He slept the whole next day so I went home and met up with my girlfriends and got to hear about all their hotel room fun-LOL! Sammy looked beautiful and she has some gorgeous gams! Sounds like she had a GREAT prom!
Roc will be back, you know he just takes mini vacays every once in awhile.

  16. HOT! It's finally getting hot in Chicagoland. More so in my neck of the woods than in Judes', but tomorrow they're predicting 90 degrees for my little burb. I wish we could have had some 70's inbetween the 40's and the 80's but such is the life of a metropolitan area next to one of the Great Lakes.
